November 2nd will see the public opening of a heritage photographic project, ‘Perspective on the Past’ created by the u3a Leyland photographic group. The group consists of people with a diverse range of photographic skills. For the majority of the group this is a first-time experience, publicly exhibiting their works. A selection of Leyland’s many protected buildings have been selected and highlighted to raise awareness and shine a light on the rich local heritage.
This exhibition can be viewed in the Atrium, Worden Hall, Worden Park, Leyland until the 12th December 2024. Entrance is free. Each Monday, between 10.00am – 2.00pm, a member of the group will be on hand to guide you through the 26 photographs.
