Our visit to Hawarth and Bronte country is on Wednesday 16th October 2024. We will travel by minibus, driven by Dave, and leave from Tesco Car Park, bus stop A, at 10:00am and return at 3:30pm, expecting to arrive in Leyland at 4:30pm. Description of the Trip
The cost is for transport only but there are many attractions to suit all interests. The Parsonage Museum (home of the Bronte sisters) – admission £10.00 concession. A rich variety of traditional shops – clothing, craft, gifts, curios, galleries and cafes. Keighley and Worth Valley Railway (the setting for the film “The Railway Children”).
