Dog Walking

Coordinator:

There is no coordinator as such but a WhatsApp group that puts dog walkers together. Those wishing to join the Dog Walking WhatsApp please come to one of the monthly meetings on the second Wednesday morning of the month to register.

About the group

You need to have a mobile phone with WhatsApp installed to join this group (or buddy up with someone who does).

The group is for:

• members who would like to walk a dog with or for someone else
  Members do not have to own dogs.
• members who would like to join up with others for a dog walk

Once you have joined the group you can post messages suggesting walks or offering to walk or look after a dog.

The group rules:

• Dogs are to be on leads at start.
• No dangerous dogs allowed.
• Dogs must be sociable and friendly around other dogs and people.
• Don’t put private home addresses on group messages.
• Arrive on time, people and dogs may not wait for latecomers.
• You must post a reply on WhatsApp if you are joining a walk.
