Our visit to the East Lancs Railway will be on Saturday 22nd April 2023. Transport will be by minibus, driven by Steve Ellison, which will drop us off at Rawtenstall station. Departure is 9:00am from the Tesco car park, bus lane, Leyland. Return is 4:00pm from Rawtenstall station and expected arrival in Leyland is 4:45pm. The cost is £20, subject to minimum numbers of 16. The Eat Lancs Railway steam train trip to Heywood, takes approx. 75 mins. On the way back get off at any of 7 stations & explore (Heywood. Bury, Burrs, Summerseat, Ramsbottom, Irwell Vale or Rawtenstall ) Whether shopping, a step back in time or sculpture is for you, there is a recommended itinerary.
